The Cybersecurity Club runs a six-week mentorship program inside its Discord community, designed to connect people who want to learn with those who want to teach. Whether you are just starting out or sharpening advanced skills, the program provides structure, accountability, and direct access to experienced practitioners.
The program runs in six-week cycles with weekly check-ins between mentors and mentees. Once matched, both sides follow a shared structure to keep progress meaningful and consistent. A look at who is currently participating is below.
If you are looking for a mentor, or you have experience worth sharing and want to become one, the Cybersecurity Club is where that connection happens.
Post an introduction in the Mentorship channel on Discord that covers your current level, what you specifically want to learn, your goal for the next six weeks, your availability and timezone, and your preferred communication style.
Share your background and experience, two or three topics you can help with, your mentoring style, your availability and timezone, and how many mentees you can support during the cycle.
Start with a short video call to get to know each other, set a consistent weekly meeting time, agree on a communication format that works for both of you, and follow the six-week structure outlined in the program guide.

gorila is an intermediate-level cybersecurity student at a theory-heavy university looking for hands-on help with penetration testing and Red Team skills. Available weekends, GMT+3, and flexible on communication style.
e5iw has 8 years on the business and strategy side of IT at an intermediate-to-experienced level. Looking for guidance on whether CISSP is the right next step, and also seeking a CISSP sponsor. Available evenings and weekends, GMT-5, prefers video calls.
Wpaulin21 is pivoting from technical operations into IT and cybersecurity.
