RHODE HITS THE ROAD

Fresh off the launch of its Summer 2026 collection, Rhode is taking things offline with a tour across North America and Europe.

The brand is bringing a travelling kiosk where fans can shop the latest products, pick up city-exclusive merch and limited-edition items, and take part in activations along the way. Rhode (with Hailey Bieber at the helm) has become one of the internet’s biggest hype machines, and this is a great way to continue building that community beyond social media by bringing the brand directly to its audience.

INSTAGRAM FINALLY LETS YOU REORDER YOUR GRID

Do you also have that one post sitting on your Instagram profile that would make so much more sense if it just lived next to another photo?

After what feels like years of begging, Instagram is finally letting users manually reorder their profile grids. One of the platform’s most requested features is here, which means you no longer have to strategically post three filler photos just to make your feed look right.

For creators, brands, and anyone who has ever spent an embarrassing amount of time staring at their own feed, this is great news. The age of being held hostage by your 2022 posting decisions is finally over.

REDDIT LAUNCHES VIDEO COMMENTS

Video continues to dominate the internet.

This week, Reddit rolled out video comments, allowing users to reply with videos instead of just texts, photos and GIFs. A natural next step for a platform built around communities and conversations. Sometimes it’s simply easier to show someone how to solve a problem, demonstrate a makeup technique, or explain a hot take than it is to type out three paragraphs.

STARBUCKS PROVES LIMITED-EDITION CULTURE IS ALIVE AND WELL

Remember the Bearista cup craze last year, when people were queuing at 4am to get their hands on one?

Starbucks is back at it again with a FIFA World Cup-themed Bearista wearing a football hat, alongside limited-edition cup sleeves rolling out across multiple markets.

The brand continues to prove that people love a collectible, especially when it’s tied to a major cultural moment. And judging by the fact that some of the cups are already being resold online for over $100, the hype is very much alive.

THE POWER OF GIRL GRIP

This week, heaps of brands have jumped on the “Sorry, I can’t, my hands are full” trend, celebrating the legendary girl grip by filling someone’s hands with as many products as physically possible.

Simple, fun, and relatable for anyone who’s somehow mastered the art of carrying their entire life in two hands.

This week, the platforms focused on giving people new ways to participate, while brands focused on getting people to show up in real life.

Whether it’s rearranging your Instagram grid, posting a video reply on Reddit, or queueing for a Bearista cup, everyone seems to be chasing a little more engagement.

See you on next week’s scroll.
