Common Sense Entertainment, the award-winning production company behind SPRING FOOTBALL HAS SPRUNG, which has been the leader in narrative-driven talk about the United Football League (UFL), is set to deliver special editions of the program surrounding the league’s first ever United Bowl, which will have rapper 50 Cent as the halftime performer at Audi Field in Washington DC.
In addition to the FRIDAY JUNE 5 edition of the show, which will air in its usual midday slot on the Common Sense Entertainment YouTube channel (YouTube.com/TheCSEChannel) ahead of the four-team UFL Playoffs (DC Defenders at Orlando Storm; Louisville Kings at St. Louis Battlehawks), the FRIDAY JUNE 12 edition will air at a special time of 8PM ET on the eve of the United Bowl. On SATURDAY JUNE 13 at 2PM ET, the hour before the United Bowl, Host Eugene Obah will deliver a special edition of SPRING FOOTBALL HAS SPRUNG: THE TWO MINUTE DRILL. Viewers can also expect Shorts, including SPRING FOOTBALL HAS SPRUNG: OT, running up to and the day of the United Bowl, of which viewers can watch on YouTube.com/TheCSEChannel/shorts. It all leads to the show’s season finale FRIDAY JUNE 19.
“With our subscriber growth, record-breaking impressions each week on X, along with all of the engagement and conversation surrounding the show—by far the highest of any entertainment program we have done—we are turning our hit show up big time for the United Bowl, and the fact that it is right in our backyard is even better,” said Obah, who also serves as Vice President, Common Sense Entertainment. “We knew that there was a gap in the market for a show like ours, and I have been thrilled to flex a different muscle hosting this, along with our team seeing the public’s support. As long as there continues to be a UFL, I will look forward to continuing to be analytical and opinionated, and as our team will tell you, I would earn the MVP on both fronts.
SPRING FOOTBALL HAS SPRUNG is a production of Common Sense Entertainment Inc. Catch up with all of the editions with the playlist here, and join the conversation with the #SFHS hashtag.
