And I think one of the biggest lies we’ve been taught is that once we make a decision…

we owe it our loyalty forever.

That if we’ve invested enough time…

enough energy…

enough money…

enough years…

into a relationship,
a career,
a city,
a dream…

we have to stay.

Even when we’ve outgrown it.

Especially then.

This Gemini New Moon feels like a permission slip.

Not to become someone new.

But to tell yourself the truth.

Gemini energy is often misunderstood.

People call it indecisive.

Flaky.

Too much.

But Gemini isn’t afraid of new information.

Gemini understands that life is movement.

Curiosity.

Conversation.

Possibility.

It understands that sometimes what is true today…

is different than what was true yesterday.

And that isn’t inconsistency.

It’s wisdom.

It’s self-trust.

Most people stay because they believe leaving means they made the wrong choice.

As I was moving abroad after the fire…

I thought I knew exactly what my nervous system needed.

My home in the Palisades sat tucked away in the canyon.

I had created this magical little cocoon away from the chaos.

And at that time…

it truly saved me.

So when I moved to Portugal…

I manifested exactly what I thought I wanted.

A sanctuary by the ocean.

Quiet.

Secluded.

A place to meditate.

Disappear.

Heal.

And then I got it.

And I realized:

I don’t want this anymore.

I don’t want to disappear.

I don’t want to be secluded.

I’m ready for community.

I’m ready for connection.

I’m ready to build.

What surprised me most wasn’t that I had changed my mind.

It was realizing the city no longer impacted my nervous system the way it once had.

Because I had changed.

I had done the work.

The version of me that needed isolation had healed.

And suddenly Lisbon - with all of her grandmother sweet-and-spicy energy -felt like home.

So I changed my mind.

And nothing bad happened.

In fact…

everything expanded.

Just because you manifest something…

doesn’t mean you have to keep it.

You are allowed to refine your desires.

You are allowed to realize:

“I thought I wanted this.”

“But now that I’m here…

I want that.”

You are allowed to disappoint the version of you who made the original decision.

You are allowed to choose again.

Not recklessly.

Not without integrity.

But honestly.

Because this human life isn’t built through one giant decision.

It’s built through thousands of tiny moments of truth.

Portals.

Timelines.

Course corrections.

Conversations.

Choices.

And maybe the life you’re craving isn’t on the other side of trying harder.

Maybe it’s on the other side of finally admitting what you actually want now.

I’ve learned that when I choose myself from a place of deep honesty…

life flows.

I operate with integrity.

I become available for my highest expression.

I can hear my intuition.

I can receive.

But when I self-abandon…

that’s when the turbulence begins.

The resentment.

The chaos.

The misalignment.

Because forcing ourselves to remain loyal to who we used to be…

comes at a cost.

And eventually…

our bodies know.
