He also introduces the concept of design thinking, which is a tool to arrive at a radical solution or outcome instead of a linear thought process.
The starting point in design thinking is essential, and there are different ways to come at it, such as user research or asking five whys. Once you have a lot of different ideas and directions, you apply a filter to determine the best solution.
