Join Encounter Voices’ Loz Kaye, Heartbeat, Songbirds and Connect Community choirs for songs celebrating singing itself – the power of lyrics to lift the spirits, and the joy of finding your voice through music. There will be a free song sharing in the wonderful venue of the Preston Harris Museum rotunda at 2 PM on Saturday 19^th September during Preston Encounter Festival 2026. This also forms part of an autumn showcasing inclusive singing across Lancashire led by County of Song. You will be able to take part in the event too, so watch this space for details about workshops leading up to the event.

Morecambe’s Bay Singers have been involved in a number of County of Song projects, including the collaboration River Runs with Lancaster Arts. They have a busy time ahead with gigs at Lancaster Castle on July 17^th at 12 noon, and at the Carnforth Fringe Festival on July 25^th at 12:30 PM. For people looking for daytime singing in the Morecambe Bay area they are a welcoming and well established group. They say:
