In other news, Cornerstones is keeping a close eye on the use of AI in the creative space and publishing as there is an increasing rejection of books that have any AI input.
Join Helen Corner-Bryant and AI expert Julia Bell for a free webinar panel as they discuss how to navigate the tricky landscape of AI. The online event is taking place October 1st, 12.30–1.30pm BST. The panel will finish with a Q&A.
Julia Bell is Professor of New Writing at Birkbeck, University of London, where she has taught for nearly thirty years. She is the author of Radical Attention (Peninsula Press, 2020; reissued 2026 with a new introduction by Grace Blakeley), an essay on the politics of attention that draws on the work of Simone Weil, and most recently Between the Lines (Simon & Schuster, 2026).
