This South African drama follows the story of Jonasi (S’dumo Mtshali), a man whose carefully lived (in the sight of others) life begins to unravel as the truth about his multiple relationships comes to light.

Jonasi and his wife, Joyce (Gugu Gumede) appear to have a successful marriage from the outside looking in. However, beneath the surface lies a relationship filled with secrets, deception, and the emotional toll of living a double life.

Without giving away any spoilers, I must say this is one series worth binge-watching. There were moments that made me angry, sad, frustrated, and even relieved, all at the same time. This story keeps you invested as the drama unfolds and the consequences of each decision becomes harder to ignore.

More than anything, this series serves as a reminder that appearances can be deceiving.
