While edited shops for adults abound, the market for cool clothing for kids is remarkably small (no pun intended). Cosmo, a new store in Bed-Stuy that fits the bill offers a curated mix of pre-loved pieces alongside new pieces from thoughtful small makers. Rooted in circularity, Cosmo also buys used kids clothes from sizes newborn up to 12 years! The shop will also serve as a neighborhood space offering art classes, free story-times, mending and up-cycling workshops, caregiver meetups, and other events centered around creativity, sustainability, and community.
One of the best vintage stores in the city, Seven Wonders Collective, has a new Brooklyn Location: Boerum Hill! Opening tomorrow, June 13th, swing by the new shop at 398 Atlantic Avenue 11a-7p for vintage shopping, complimentary sips, and live fashion illustrations avail at 12-3p. You can expect racks full of curated vintage, and plenty of pieces to gush over!
Keeping things along Atlantic Ave, there’s a newcomer just south at 331 Henry Street, Harris Home. The shop curates a collection of considered vintage, fine art, and contemporary craft pieces. Currently open Saturdays and Sundays from 2-5p or by appointment. Pop by before a late weekend lunch next door at Lilo!

Meet Ashley, the founder of BK-based handmade jewelry brand, Don’t Let Disco. Her fine art background and experience at Sotheby’s deeply inform her approach to jewelry design, highlighting the art historical significance of beads, sourcing unique materials globally to craft pieces that feel both worldly and personal. Drawing on a slow design philosophy, the brand breathes new life into upcycled materials, like Murano glass, hand-glazed porcelain, and antique components, collaborating with independent artisans worldwide.
