And we welcome her with luvluvluv all the way from her Furever Home at Hound Hollow in the big beautiful and we do mean huge state of Texas. And remember, not only do I luvluvluv Julie Rae Cat, but I luvluvluv all of you, our Dear Gentle Critters and Dear Gentle Readers.

Jasper: Excellent, Chris. And now, Critters, please give a warm welcome to Julie Rae Cat!
Julie Rae: Thank you for the introduction, Jasper Kitten, Chris and Jojo. It’s great to be here at CwC. Thank you very much. I can hardly believe it.
Jasper: We are so happy to have you here with us. First and foremost, Julie Rae, you live in the big beautiful and we do mean huge state of Texas. Did we get that right?
Julie Rae: Yes, that’s right. I live in Texas.
Jasper: We understand that you found your Furever Home at an incredible place called, Hound Hollow, which is also a Furever Home for several other Critter Friends.
Julie Rae: Yes, that’s right. I live with my cat brother Tommy and my dog sister and brothers, Em and Travis the Pup and William. And we live on a Lake by a Forest. It’s real nice. I can hardly believe it.
Jasper: That is incredible. Now, Julie Rae. Would you feel comfortable sharing your road to Furever with us?
Julie Rae: Yes, I’d be happy to do that, especially if it will help another Critter know that they can find Furever, too, no matter what.
Chris: What.
Julie Rae: Yes, that’s right, Chris. Thank you very much.
Chris: You’re welcome. Cuz. We heard that you did not have the luxury of a Couch.
Jasper: We’re all ears, Julie Rae.
Julie Rae: Yes, you see, I’m two years old and recently celebrated my birthday.
Jasper: Happy Birthday, Julie Rae.
Chris: Ditto.
Jojo: Ditto. Ditto.
Julie Rae: Thank you very much.
Jasper: Julie Rae, according to our biographical notes, we understand that you have already gone through a couple of your nine lives.
Julie Rae: Yes, that’s right. I’m from a place called Madisonville. But I was abandoned there at six months old and was expecting babies. I ate from trash bins by an inn and restaurant and found as safe a place as I could under their porch. My Furbabies were quite beautiful and I’m so proud of my children. And then a very nice Hooman named Miss Dawn rescued us and helped us find our Furever Homes at Rufus Rescue.
Jasper: That was super duper nice of Miss Dawn.
Julie Rae: Yes, that’s right. Miss Dawn is a credit to Hoomans. First and foremost, she found Furever Homes for my Furbabies. And then my own Furever Family came and adopted me. Now I live at Hound Hollow and enjoy a purrfect lifestyle.
Jojo: Julie Rae, we understand that you enjoy the, shall we say in the vernacular, species specific company of your dogs.
Julie Rae: Yes, that’s right, Jojo. In fact, my dog sister Em is really Senior like you and she thinks you’re real brave.
Jojo: Oh my goodness, I need to adjust my bow tie after receiving such high praise.
Julie Rae: My dogs wear bandanas.
Jojo: That is truly incredible. Julie Rae, would now be a good time to share another photo of you at home in Hound Hollow for the edification and enjoyment of our Readers?
Julie Rae: Yes, that’s so nice of you to ask, Jojo.
Jojo: Of course. Of course.
Jasper: At this point, Julie Rae, I would now like to further open open open the discussion to issues which pertain to Rescue and Furever and how Hoomans can demonstrate luvluvluv for Critters.
Chris: Who does that? Who.
Jasper: Correct. Chris. Let’s hear more about Julie Rae’s journey to Furever.
Chris: Fur sure.
Julie Rae: Yes, that’s right. I was shown a lot of kindness from Miss Dawn and cuz of her, I found Furever. And, like I said cuz it bears repeating, so did my beautiful Furbabies.

Julie Rae: Thank you very much. Furthermore, Rufus Rescue is a privately funded, small, no kill shelter with foster homes for Critters as they await Furever.
Chris: It sure does feel good to think about how many Critters find their way to a Couch.

Chris: Absolutely. Rescue is highly relatable at CwC. Full stop.
Julie Rae: All of us here at Hound Hollow are so impressed with being Rescued. Chris, it’s legendary that you and Jasper Kitten went through an automotive journey to Furever. And Jojo went through a second chance with his Muttville Senior Dog Rescue.
Chris: Fur sure, Julie Rae. I was born in a garage by the Tesla Factory.
Jasper: And I was found in a bush at a gas station.
Jojo: And I luvluvluv that I got adopted at 13 years of age.
Julie Rae: Yes, it’s so nice that we share so much in common.
