Today Critters, we are pleased to creature feature a focused photo of a juvenile Cedar Waxwing. Hooray! Hooray!

Furthermore. Unlike our previous and quite blurry fledgling photo, nature gave us a second chance with this birb species and we availed ourselves of the opportunity. Naturally.

Please, welcome our Core Community Critters, Jasper Kitten, Chris and Jojo in excellent give it another shot critter conversation. Take it away!

Heidi: Hello and welcome, Friends, to this week’s timely sense of opportunity with our latest and greatest Cedar Waxwing Critter Photo!

Jasper: Greetings, Critters! We’re taking another shot at it. Full f/stop.

Chris: What. What is an f/stop. Question mark. Question mark. Furthermore. Hello, Everyone. The end.

Jojo: Dear Gentle Critters and Dear Gentle Readers, I luvluvluv you. Life is full of second chances. Please. Consider getting a clear image of a beautiful birb, known in the vernacular as a Cedar Waxwing, and in the Latin Binomial Taxonomic Naming System as Bombycilla cedrorum.

Jasper: Critters, before we go any further, for the sake of clarity and clarification and to ensure that Chris will remain on the Couch for the duration of this conversation, an f/stop is the aperture setting and measurement on a camera which controls the amount of light that enters the camera itself. The end.

Chris: Thank you for the clarity and clarification, Jasper. Now I fully and completely, openly and honestly, understand your creative license in saying: Full f/stop. That’s even funny now that I think of it.

Jasper: Correct. Chris. And thank you very much.

Jojo: Would now be a good time to talk about the existential value in giving things another shot?

Jasper: In terms of photography?

Chris: Or in terms of birbs?

Jojo: In terms of both. And furthermore, in terms of life.

Jasper: You’re going deep on this, Jojo.

Chris: And big.

Jasper: Jojo, please. Proceed.

Jojo: Of course. I mean in terms of photography and in terms of birbs. But. I especially existentially mean in terms of having second chances in life. In essence, in existence, I was given a second chance at Furever when I was adopted as a Senior and came to live with the two of you almost two years ago. Full f/stop furever.

Jasper: Well said, Jojo.

Chris: Thank you for being our dog, Jojo.

Jojo: Thank you for being my cats, Chris and Jasper.

Jasper: Fur.

Chris: Ever.

Jojo: Now. It seems only natural that with the Cedar Waxwing’s year round presence, residency, and population here in our environment that we would avail ourselves of the chance, a second time around, to get a clear and beautiful photo of an incredible juvenile birb. The end.

Jasper: Persistence pays off.

Chris: And perseverance.

Jasper: Ditto.

Jojo: Critters. Let’s compare and contrast our two recent nature photos of the Cedar Waxwing Birb for the edification and enjoyment of our Readers. Furthermore, please observe how our photo skills have improved from the photo of the fledgling to the photo of the juvenile.

Jasper: And how we got lucky in general with this species and with two, I suspect, different individuals, specifically.
