Of every Armenian

When children misbehave

We always blame the mother

We call our Mother, Earth

Then we kill each other

Our planet is to blame

For winter and for summer

The past will remain,

We are bound to hit the brakes,

To love one another

To set our course right

To prove we are… resilient

But resilience isn’t loud

It doesn’t scream for praise

It’s the quiet that holds

When the world decays
