The next main line Elder Scrolls game may not be out for a few years but its subtitle may be closer to being revealed.
On a visit to Bethesda, Xbox CEO Asha Sharma got to see Elder Scrolls VI. In a post on social media Sharma said the "scale and grandeur are incredible." And that the "story is even greater."
The post also contained the first hint of the sixth games subtitle. Eight asterisks come after the Elder Scrolls VI title. Even Bethesda commented on the post with eight as well. Fan theories point to it may be Sentinel.
Little is known about the game other than the reveal trailer from eight years ago in 2018. It's rumored to be set in Hammerfell where the major city of Sentinel is.
The theory is taken further after a Starfield player discovered a random assortment of numbers spelled out Sentinel in the character creator.
Without an official announcement from Bethesda, it's unknown what the eight characters could spell out. In the meantime, players can visit Sentinel in the Elder Scrolls Online.
