The Orpheum Theatre is a beautiful venue for bringing the community together in Crowsnest Pass, Alberta. We were lucky enough to work with Des and her crew for the 2026 screening of the Trail Running Film Festival. And my friend Kira Aindow was there, and we’re all lucky enough that she’s a great photographer!
We had so much fun with our awesome entertainment. Kevin Smith was his usual fantastic self and played some wonderful tunes before the show. Karan Kashyap brought the magic, literally! He was an incredible entertainer, and we were grateful to have him on hand. Sheena, Melody Rysing, Chack Bare Again, Ravin Royal were the amazing Aid Station Follies. They cranked up the energy, and the crowd loved them. And finally, Tarrant Crosschild was an incredible speaker who shed some light on his story and the Prairie Run Crew.

Thank you all for coming out. We celebrated our amazing sport and community in Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, Crowsnest Pass, Jasper, and Canmore!
Not only did we bring our community together, but we highlighted local performers as well. We had burlesque performers, magicians, theatre artists, go-go dancers, and musicians. We highlighted local films, we spoke with local runners, and we raised $1500 for Jasper as they rebuild after the devastating wildfires last year. 850 of you showed up, and we’re so grateful to all of you for doing so.
We also had a group run start at the awesome Kindred Ground coffee shop on Saturday morning and they stayed open late to host a dance party Saturday night. It was an entire weekend spent celebrating our amazing sport and you can look forward to more of that in 2027!
We are so lucky to have great sponsors and we love working with them to bring you all together.

Thank you to everyone who bought a ticket, volunteered, performed, spoke, ran with us, or simply came to celebrate trail running. Weekends like this remind us why we started Community Trail Running in the first place.
