The place I come to rest has acquired a wildness
That seems to know no bounds
I	Deadhead
	Keep the growth at bay
But there’s not much to do about the detritus
Not much ado	now that I try less
I paint the cracks in the sidewalk gold
	Kintsugi
I scattered
	The seeds
		Bring crows
They once left bits of glass
A gift? An Omen?
The squirrels stare
	Me dead in the eyes
Reveal nothing
	Won’t Scatter
		No matter
I sit and stare from a 3x5 square
Under witch hangs
	Feathers & Eculayptus
	Skulls Stones Bones
	Life support marigolds &
An apple in each corner to soak up sin
Original?
I ponder this in the dead hours
	Devoid of energy
		That no novelty can fill
Got empty jars just in case tho
Open shelves awaiting sustenance
I carve holes into the walls To make space
							For something to take shape
Shuffling my wares from place to place
	Just so
		You know
			A guest might arrive
The place might once again thrive
Warmed by fire
	Lit by fairy light
		Lit
			Voices to fill the dead
			Of night
Drowning out the machines
	Droll hum
	Doldrums
My lines will soon be unmoored
I’ve got sails surrounding me to catch the next mighty wind
Let it lift this place from its foundation
Carry me to	anywhere
A house, man, and skeleton are whipped into the air by heavy winds. The house is attached to a sail and lifted by crows. The skeleton reaches for the man who is hurtling backwards, toward the desert below. Household items spill out the home’s open door.
