In all seriousness, I am grateful for many things, not least of which is the power to disconnect from Wi-Fi and write by hand, now and then. Mostly, I’m grateful for family, good health, good friends, and the fact that a tornado hopped over me this week, rather than barging through my kitchen and living room. I hope that your holidays are peaceful, safe, healthy, happy, filled with family, friends, good food, and laughter. And if you need a few minutes to yourself, this weekend, I hope you’ll visit my blog and read a few posts. Maybe these:
November, New Beginnings - enjoy the photos.
For Once, a post and a poem about small Pyrrhic victories. And yes, instructions for answering your Samsung Galaxy mobile phone. Geez.
Jump Scare - I wasn’t feeling too inspired, but Hollywood called and now I’m hired.
Even Futile Arguments Can Inspire Poetry but not all that often.
Reading Too Quickly for My Own Good can sometimes have amusing results.
Your Call is Important to Us So Thank You for Your (im)Patience - pre-emptive thanks, does that ever work?? A glimpse into our dystopian
futurepresent.Feelin’ Spicy - thank you, to Iowa’s Poet Laureate and my friend, Vince Gotera, for being a bit of a stickler for form and not letting me slack off.
To my new subscriber(s), welcome.
