I messed up
Again
Literally, every single thing I did for biz today had a mistake in it
Not a typo size error
I’m good at those
My mind moves faster than my fingers a lot of times
And I’d rather ship it fast than agonize over a blitzkreig of corrections frm grammer nazis
But today, I picked the wrong voice for an audiobook
That made it all the way to the end of the process
Meaning getting ready to upload
And it was wrong
Then, I finished and uploaded a new book
Same genre
Right book description
Correct cover
Bad title in the listing
Wrong title
Because…
I’m in a hurry at the moment
This is the last week before #10 goes to school and I’m spending a lot of time with him
And he demands as much, if not more attention than a toddler
A lot of “Watch this!” on Tik Tok and a lot of “Watch me!” when he’s swinging
Plus batting cages, and field work and riding around to football practice and haircuts and picking up friends
Because I can’t keep up with him as well as his 14 year old buddies can
Elite athletes all
Plus planning for what comes next for me in a week when he’s back in school
Work, yes.
Lot’s and lot’s of it, but also, twelve more days of this adventure before it’s time to move onto and into the next phase
But in between now and then, it’s kinda chaotic and unsettled
With work in various stages and backed up because of my boo boo’s
Like sending out the big boxsets to say thank you for being a paid subscriber is five days behind
Low access to the internet after a weekend of no internet at all
So I’m working on something as a sort of thank you bonus
And limited time online this week has exacerbated it
All of it
As well,
But when I look at the man in the mirror
Do I yell and scream about screw up’s?
Heck no, that’s what happens when you move fast
Stuff breaks
Stuff falls through the cracks
Stuff gets pushed back and pushed around but one thing remains the same
Stuff happens
What stuff?
It
