The images above represent my BUCKET LIST.
The check mark at the top says task complete, bucket list fulfilled.
For most guys this would be FINIS, a wrap up of accomplishments, done and dusted.
My bucket list is a plan for the future.
In 1992, at age 45, I was crushed by a falling piano.
BADOOM!
Life altering to say the least.
Within an instant I realized that my career as an independent wooden boat carpenter was rapidly coming to an end.
Drs. told me then that my condition would lead to Chronic Degenerative Everything.
I remember thinking, “Come up with a plan for when all you can do is sit in front of your computer screen.”
The images act as my flash cards.
Each sets off instant memories.
I’d love to tell you about them.
Like body surfing Huntington Beach in a major riptide on the day Neil Armstrong walked on The Moon.
The local papers had MAN ON MOON in three inch letters across the page.
Above in smaller text was SPECIAL HUNDREDS RESCUED FROM RIPTIDE.
No Shit!
There’s a lot more to that tale.
We’ll get to it.
The flash cards will stimulate my thoughts when the time is right.
Meanwhile…
