Bored of seeing the same website designs?

Hey there!

Ever walked past a store that was so beautifully designed, you just had to go inside? 

Even if you didn't need anything from there? 

That's exactly what I do… Every… Single… Time!

This got me thinking about websites.

Here's the thing - I'm getting pretty tired of seeing the same old website templates everywhere. 

You know the ones I mean: 
- generic stock photo of smiling business people
- three columns of features
- testimonial section with randomly generated faces

... yawnnnn . 

But then I stumble across websites that tell stories through beautiful illustrations and animations. 

Like the Singapore Airlines site that takes you on a visual journey from booking to touchdown. 

Or the Height App that uses simple animated line drawings to walk you through their services. 

More importantly, these websites TOLD A STORY!

I felt I was going through a journey rather than just getting information fed to me.  

These sites hook me in, even though I'm not their target customer!

On another note, don’t get me started with the overuse of AI generated website content.

Let’s just say, AI is good at a lot of things, but storytelling ain’t one of them!

In a world of copy-paste or AI-generated websites, being visually unique isn't just about looking pretty. 

It's about keeping people on your site long enough to hear what you have to say. 

It's about making them want to explore more, just like that irresistible store window display.

It’s also about taking a website visitor through a journey/experience.
