Claude’s new memory feature is live, and everyone needs to do a full review of what’s in it so that all of your chats are working off the right information.
In the video below, I walk you through how to make sure everything is setup properly.
One memory now covers chat and Cowork. Anthropic’s blog is blunt about it. “Starting today, the memory you use in chat is the same as in Claude Cowork.”
Memory writes itself while you talk, instead of summarizing a conversation after it ends. The old system refreshed roughly once a day.
Everything it remembers is an editable file. Your job is to go read them and make sure everything is accurate.
