If you’ve been following my content for a while, you’ll know one thing I always say:

Getting an international job isn’t just about applying. It’s about applying in the right places.

One of the biggest mistakes I see job seekers make is spending hours on Google searching “jobs with visa sponsorship.”

The result?

They end up on websites that are outdated, full of scam listings, or packed with jobs that don’t match their experience.

Then they send out hundreds of applications and wonder why nobody replies.

Here’s the truth.

Sometimes, it’s not your qualifications holding you back.

You’re simply applying in the wrong places.

Over the past year, several of my clients received international job offers after using some of the websites I’m about to share. While no website can guarantee you a job, these platforms are trusted, widely used, and should absolutely be part of your job search strategy.

Let’s dive in.

If Europe is on your dream list, EURES should be one of the first websites you visit.

EURES is the European Employment Services network. It connects job seekers with employers across many European countries and includes thousands of vacancies from different industries.

You’ll find opportunities in healthcare, hospitality, construction, engineering, agriculture, logistics, IT, manufacturing, and many more.

One thing I like about EURES is that it also provides useful information about living and working in different European countries. You can learn about labour markets, relocation support, and employment conditions before you even apply.

How to use it effectively:

Create your profile.

Upload a professional CV.

Use filters to narrow your search by occupation, country, and language.

Read every job description carefully before applying.

If a role mentions international applicants or relocation support, make a note of it.

Don’t just apply and disappear. Keep track of your applications.

If Canada is your goal, this website deserves a place in your bookmarks.

Job Bank is Canada’s official government job website.

Thousands of employers advertise vacancies here every day.

You’ll find jobs across healthcare, trades, transportation, hospitality, agriculture, administration, engineering, finance, customer service, and more.

One feature I love is that many listings clearly indicate whether the employer is open to international applicants.

How to use it effectively:

Use the advanced search filters.

Search using your exact occupation instead of broad words like “worker.”

Pay attention to job requirements.

Read whether experience or certifications are required.

Set up job alerts so new vacancies come directly to your inbox.

If you’re interested in Australia, SEEK is one of the country’s largest employment websites.

Many Australian employers advertise vacancies here across healthcare, mining, engineering, education, hospitality, aged care, administration, finance, and skilled trades

Many people don’t realise that SEEK also has a dedicated New Zealand platform.

This website is one of the most popular recruitment platforms in New Zealand.

Industries include healthcare, construction, agriculture, IT, logistics, hospitality, education, engineering, and manufacturing.

New Zealand continues to experience skill shortages in several occupations, making it an attractive destination for many professionals.

Again, don’t rush your applications.

Tailor your CV for every role.

Highlight your relevant skills.

Show employers exactly why you’re a strong fit.

If you’re interested in healthcare opportunities in the UK, NHS Jobs should be on your list.

This platform advertises vacancies across England’s National Health Service.

While many people think the NHS only recruits doctors and nurses, that’s not true.

You’ll also find opportunities for:

Clinical Support Workers

Healthcare Assistants

Pharmacy roles

Laboratory positions

Administrative staff

Porters

Allied Health Professionals

Research roles

And many more.

Some positions may be open to international recruitment and eligible for sponsorship, depending on the employer and the role.

Always read the job advert carefully to understand the eligibility requirements.

Yes, LinkedIn.

Many people think LinkedIn is only for networking.

They’re missing a huge opportunity.

Thousands of employers recruit directly through LinkedIn every day.

Many recruiters actively search for candidates before they even advertise jobs elsewhere.

This is why having an optimised LinkedIn profile matters.

Here’s something I want you to remember.

These websites don’t magically get people jobs.

People get jobs because they know how to use these platforms effectively.

The strongest candidates usually:

Tailor every CV.

Customize every application.

Research the employer.

Use the right keywords.

Apply consistently.

Follow instructions carefully.

Most people skip these steps.

That’s why they rarely hear back.

If writing CVs, tailoring applications, or navigating international recruitment feels overwhelming, you don’t have to do it alone.
