Hi! How is your weekend?? Sorry a little late with this weeks ‘Borrow My Notes’ but I promise you it’s worth it! Great sales, fresh codes, a spotlight on Fall sneakers, reporting back on the Alex Mill sweater, adidas track pants, the J.Crew reversible rollneck AND don’t miss the bestsellers we both can’t get enough of lately.
Let’s get into it!
Minnow’s once a year sale is live with up to 50% off! We all know their swimwear is incredible but don’t miss their knit sweaters. I own & love this one, have always loved this cardigan, oh and the pajamas!
Brooklinen 20% Big Bed Sale or up to 40% off with a bundle I grabbed these sheets at their last sale and now I’m obsessed.
Gap Friends & Family sale with 40% off everything AND an extra 10% off with code GREAT. Every time I take a scroll through Gap new arrivals I think I need to shop at the Gap more!
Hotel Lobby’s biggest sale of the year with 20% off sitewide! The racquet club collection is a personal favorite (so good!) And I love having an extra candle on hand for a last minute gift.
Soft Services sitewide sale. Their buffing bar is a life saver! I use it before I apply self tanner and it saves my skin during the colder months.
Varley: Don’t forget code HELLOVARLEY to save, this just arrived and I’m BLOWN AWAY

Putting the spotlight each week on proven Fall styles, the ones that have earned a spot in my closet! Today it’s the sneakers that I couldn’t wait to put to work.
- A new to me sneaker brand I wish I tried sooner! Walk all day comfortable straight out of the box in a better than basic neutral that goes with everything…and double laces!
- I wasn’t sure but these Autry sneakers are worth the hype! I swear they molded to my foot after 2 minutes and have been wearing them on repeat ever since. I mean, the subtle pink!
- The adidas sneaker so good I bought them twice! I walked about 184 thousand steps in this pair at Disney this Summer and couldn’t pass up this new Fall colorway. The sweet spot is to size half down.
I don’t think I’ve ever ordered a tote bag fast enough! Is giving Alex Mill vibes for less than $150 AND the subtle bandana print
Oh my gosh this Marea bandana jacket sold out in .5 seconds but is back for pre-order.
I saw someone wearing these velvet mary-jane flats this week and immediately added them to my cart.
Okay, wow! These are by far the best adidas track pants I’ve owned. A thicker, quality material, zipper pockets that sit flush, a flattering elastic waistband and a just right crop length (I’m 5’3” wearing my regular size small) I did try the matching jacket and didn’t care for the tight fit at the waist.
I couldn’t order this Alex Mill new arrival fast enough last week and it does not disappoint! Gorgeous color which is per usual for them, high quality and an easy fit without being oversized. Feels waaaay more expensive than the under $200 price tag! This cotton sweater in red was also a yes from my order, worn in this outfit.
Everyone’s talking about the new J.Crew reversible rollneck sweater so let’s get into it! I did follow the reviews and size up one (wearing a Medium) which was the right call. The arms are a bit long but I think the small would be too fitted in the body for an everyday style (or to layer anything underneath). But what really makes it is the stripe detailing along the buttons! classic and unexpected.
I also happened to wear the classic rollneck style this week too! This one is more oversized so I size down to an xs.
We both can’t get enough of these lately!
