TAPS vs. YMCA. Veterans vs. t-Rump!

There's a rumble in my heart when I hear TAPS!  Even when it's during a fictionalized TV show or movie.  It's played at the funeral of a veteran like me and the millions of others who have served.

They fold the flag and hand it to our surviving spouse or family member as a reminder that we did something once.

I have my dad's flag and a framed discharge and service medals.  

That fluttering rumble brings tears to my eyes because it brings back memories I've spent almost 60 years trying to forget.

I just watched an episode of “Law and Order" about some Vietnam veterans and they played TAPS during a funeral.

I don't know how this kind of post affects my subscribers.  Is it too personal?  Do I seem like a wimp?

My generation of MEN weren't supposed to cry or "FEEL” like I do at times like this.

The things I saw and did in Vietnam are branded into my soul.  I believe every veteran, to some degree, deals with some level of PTSD.

I've been working on a book about it for years and I've decided to finally try to get it published before I die and my words get tossed out with other boxes of my life.

This post is a comparison of my feelings when I hear TAPS compared to t-Rump’$ obscene “dance" when they play “YMCA" at his cult's rallies.

As I've written many times here on Substack and over the years on other sites,

t-Rump is a soulless Bone Spurs COWARD!  My homemade sign at every No Kings protest I've attended says it ALL:

Not one member of the

t-Rump family has ever served!  He's everything rotten about our system.  He's a greedy, grifting, spoiled COWARD who's somehow conned a cult into kneeling before him like the golden idols he worships.

My memes of the orange Faux King COCKROACH being crushed by the liberal, Antifa boot of a No Kings protester demonstrates how I feel about him.

My meme of the t-Rump Memorial Cesspool should be his final resting place for eternity.  

He belongs in a smouldering lake of rancid SH1t forever for ALL he's done!  He's a convicted felon, pathetic conman, coward and pedophile who makes me wish there really was a HELL.

I was at a Veteran's Day parade once and heard a couple of teenagers talking about how old we all were.  That inspired this sonnet:

                Veterans Day

A silver haired man in a uniform

With his cracking voice and glistening eyes

Recalls the thunder of a battle’s storm

As stars and stripes ripple in azure skies.

The anthem’s sweet wavering melody

Rides through ruffling leaves on a gentle breeze

Evoking emotion and memory

Of freedom’s price paid o’er distant seas.

A twenty year old dunce nudges a friend

While nodding toward the silver haired “dude”

Snickering maliciously at the blend

Of weakness and frailty, open and crude.

Observing the scene, my child on my lap,

I see, re-defined, generation gap.

Nobody with the last name,

t-Rump ever served or respected a veteran.  He calls us “suckers and losers!"  He said THIS about John McCain:

This post, like many of my others, is my attempt to express my disgust and hatred for this despicable COWARD!

I'll continue to do this work EVERY day as long as I breathe because the absolute EVIL of this pathetic Bone Spurs COWARD continues to do that obscene dance in front of his brainwashed cult. 

He feels NOTHING when TAPS is played!  He feels nothing when he's told about the people who have died or been wounded during his WAR in Iran which was started and continues for ONE reason:  to take attention away from the evidence against him in the Epstein Files.

Sailors and Marines aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln don't matter to him.  He said their current tour was “Not nearly LONG enough!" 

Well, donnie, your tour has been “Much too long!"  

As a devout atheist, I pray that you have to pay for ALL your war crimes and mass murder.  Kegsbreath, Patel, Bondi, Blanche, et. al. Should ALL face justice for their crimes.

These are the thoughts this disabled Vietnam veteran had tonight after hearing TAPS on a TV show.

I hope it's not too emotional or personal for my loyal readers.  You ALL mean a lot to me and I am grateful for each and every one of you.  Thank you for allowing me to vent every day.

I'll keep doing it because we MUST win this WAR against the absolute EVIL of t-Rump and his sycophants.
