Love the 90s in Sunderland stage times as Steps icon, DJ Sammy, Eternal and more on line-up

Love the 90s festival will take over Keel Square in Sunderland on Saturday, August 22 with a star-studded line-up

The clock will be turned back in serious style in Sunderland on Saturday, as the city hosts the one day Love the 90s festival. And we've got all the stage times you need if you've got your tickers and are looking forward to seeing acts like DJ Sammy, Eternal, Natasha Hamilton from Atomic Kitten, N-Trance and Steps icon Claire Richards.

A week ahead of the always popular Noughty 90s festival in Newcastle it's Wearside's turn to get nostalgic this weekend, as Keel Square in Sunderland city centre becomes home to a whole host of live music events for In the Square Summer Series. First up on Friday evening, is a performance from leading George Michael tribute Rob Lamberti, which should be the perfect curtain raiser for Love the 90s.

As soon as the star-studded line-up was announced for the nine hour extravaganza, plenty of tickets were snapped, with plenty of takers to enjoy the anthems of yesteryear. The first act on stage on Saturday is set to be British soul sensation Kele Le-Roc, famous for hits like My Love and A LIttle Bit of Lovin,' with her followed by Don't Give Me Your Live chart-toppers Alex Party.

The sounds of another 90s number 1 - Let Me Be Your Fantasy - will fill the air when Baby D entertain and then from then on in it should be anthems galore, with Heaven and Boys of Summer main man DJ Sammy last on stage. If you're going, here are the Love the 90s stage times:
