Astrology Writing Prompts for the Week Ahead

Hello friends!

I hope this post finds you well. This is a feature I have been offering the students in my Intermediate Intuitive Development class. On Mondays, I send writing prompts to make sense of the astrology of the week ahead. I find it helps us be prepared for what is coming and allows for some grounding amid the sometimes scattered energy.

I am coming to you on this auspicious day full of 4 degree planets and energy for profound evolution. We kick off a longer cycle of growth today with this pinpoint of perfection in degrees.

You may recall from earlier in the year, that we experienced a 6 month period where every New Moon was at 28 degrees. There was something about that period of time that felt important; something was gestating, there was a creational, feminine energy to that period. New Moons being times of intention setting and seeds being planted; 28 degrees having a Cancer energy to it. Cancer holds the energy of birth and creativity.

This was in between eclipses too - marking the beginning and the ends of that time period from October 2025 through March 2026.

And now, Pluto, Neptune, Uranus and Jupiter are all at 4 degrees. Again, a Cancer energetic degree.

So with this creational energy in mind, here are this week’s writing prompts:

1) The Sun enters Leo this week! This is a powerful place for the Sun to spend time. It speaks of bravery, courage, gusto, drama and heart centered power.

Before you start, set an intention for something you want, truly, madly, deeply, without judgement or a sense of reality. (When I did this, I set my intention that I wanted to do readings for Bono, so the sky is the limit folks.)

With that intention in mind, begin with a series of deep breaths, close your eyes if you are comfortable. And place one or both hands on your heart. As you settle in, begin to imagine a golden glowing energy emanating from your heart center.
