What if conscious manifestation isn’t about forcing an outcome, but understanding the hidden laws already shaping your reality?
In this episode, Christopher August sits down with Dr. Steven Young to explore Hermetic law, subconscious reprogramming, conscious manifestation, and the deeper relationship between thoughts, emotions, language, energy, and physical experience.
Drawing from more than three decades of studying the mind, body, and spirit, Steven introduces the seven Hermetic principles and explains how they can be applied in everyday life. Together, Christopher and Steven explore the Law of Correspondence, Mentalism, Vibration, Polarity, Rhythm, Cause and Effect, and masculine–feminine dynamics.
Steven also reveals why so-called “limiting beliefs” may be better understood as outdated stories, how our language exposes the imagery operating within the subconscious mind, and why attempting to manifest from lack can perpetuate the feeling that we are never quite there.
This conversation is an invitation to stop treating yourself as a problem to solve, remember the wholeness already within you, and consciously participate in the reality you are creating.

Manifestation begins with coherence, not control.
Conscious creation is not simply about thinking positively or repeating affirmations. Our thoughts, emotions, language, subconscious imagery, and actions must begin moving in the same direction.
Your subconscious speaks in images.
The conscious mind organizes experience through words and stories, while the subconscious often communicates through pictures, sensations, metaphors, and emotional states. Listening to your everyday language can reveal the internal imagery shaping your life.
Your beliefs are not necessarily limiting—they may be outdated.
A belief may have once protected or expanded you. The challenge begins when it remains unchanged after you have outgrown the identity and circumstances that created it.
Life is not simply happening to you.
Through the Law of Correspondence, external experiences can be understood as opportunities to recognize what is arising within you. This shift creates greater awareness, responsibility, and freedom.
Being does not mean doing nothing.
Steven defines being as acting from full self-expression and awareness without becoming attached to a specific outcome. Doing, by contrast, is often driven by unconscious emotion and the need to control results.
You do not need to earn your wholeness.
Manifesting from the belief that you are incomplete reinforces the experience of never arriving. Creation changes when it begins from the remembrance that you are already whole.
Every emotion deserves space.
Anger, grief, shame, resentment, and fear are not inherently bad. Transformation begins by giving yourself permission to feel and explore these energies without judgment.
