You’ve seen the doctors, the conventional ones and the alternative ones. You’ve done elimination diets, supplements, breathwork, you’ve read every book, followed every protocol, and stayed committed in a way most people don’t. And you’re still not well.

At a certain point, it stops feeling like something is fundamentally wrong with you, like your body doesn’t want to cooperate, like healing isn’t actually available to you the way it seems to be for everyone else.

That thought is your nervous system talking, and it has been running the show for a very long time.

Your body is not broken. Your symptoms are not random, and your immune system is not your enemy.

What’s actually happening is that your nervous system is chronically dysregulated, and that dysregulation is the reason nothing has stuck.

When your nervous system is in survival mode, your body cannot receive nourishment, it cannot absorb what you’re giving it. The clean diet, the supplements, the commitment, none of it lands the way it should because the foundation isn’t there. This is physiology, not theory.

What makes this especially difficult is that most people don’t know they’re dysregulated. We think we’re fine, managing, coping, pushing through. But dysregulation runs in the background the same way your nervous system manages your breathing: unseen, constant, driving everything. High blood pressure, insomnia, anxiety that never fully lifts, these aren’t separate problems to solve one by one. They’re all downstream of the same thing.

Last year, someone on a call asked me to stop explaining the concept and just tell them what to do.

The next time you feel it rising, the tightening, the anger, the spiral starting, stop. Don’t try to fix it or push through it. Sit with it for 30 seconds and repeat quietly to yourself: There’s nothing to fix.

Not because nothing matters. Not because your pain isn’t real. But because at that moment, the only thing your nervous system needs is for you to stop treating it like a problem to be solved.

Every time you react to an emotion by building a story around it, bypassing it, or trying to make it mean something, you signal to your nervous system that it isn’t safe, and your body stays braced. When you sit with it instead, even for just half a minute, you begin to build something your body has never had: the capacity to hold your own experience without being consumed by it. That capacity is the foundation, and everything else grows from there.

Most people can hold an uncomfortable feeling for about ten seconds before the brain scrambles for an exit. That’s not weakness. It’s an undertrained system.

Ten seconds becomes thirty. Thirty becomes a minute. The emotion moves through instead of accumulating, and the trigger that used to send you spiraling for hours starts to feel smaller, then smaller again, until one day you notice it doesn’t hook you at all anymore. Your nervous system was never broken. It’s been in protection mode. And the moment you offer it steadiness instead of urgency, it begins to soften. That softening is where healing lives.

On May 27th at 1PM MT, I’m hosting a live experiential workshop, and I want to be clear that it’s not a lecture.

You’re not going to leave with more information about your nervous system. You’re going to have a direct, felt experience of what it’s like when your system begins to settle.

In this session, you’ll be guided through the core Sit With It practice in real time, working alongside my own regulated nervous system in a live container of presence and co-regulation. You’ll begin to understand why your body hasn’t responded to what you’ve tried, and you’ll walk away with a practice you can return to the moment you need it.

This is about beginning to build a different relationship with your body, one where you’re learning to trust it rather than constantly trying to manage it. If you’ve been doing everything you can and still feel stuck, this is where you begin to approach it differently.

You have a sense your nervous system is dysregulated and don’t know where or how to start?

You’ve tried everything and still don’t feel well. You’re stuck in cycles of symptoms despite doing all the right things. You’re exhausted and you sense there’s a deeper layer of healing you haven’t been able to access yet.

You’re not missing effort. You’re missing the foundation.

I spent decades pursuing healing with everything I had, nutrition degrees, modalities, doctors, healers. I did all of it. And I was still sick, still reactive, still just surviving.

The shift came when I stopped trying to fix myself and began sitting with what was happening inside me rather than bracing against it. Offering my nervous system steadiness rather than urgency. That shift saved my life, and it is available to you. Not through more information, but through the one thing most healing approaches skip entirely: genuine presence with yourself, built 30 seconds at a time.

This is a live session with limited space. If it’s calling you, trust that.

With love,

Christine
