  • For my Instagram photos, I change between the Fujifilm x100vi, Sony a6400 (my old vlog camera that happens to have a built in flash), Canon G7X, or my iPhone. Watch my TikTok here for a comparison between them all.

  • My vlog camera for years was the Sony Zv1. It’s an amazing beginner camera and the autofocus is much better than the Canon G7X.

    • For a more discreet option, the DJI OSMO is a great choice!

  • I’ve since upgraded my camera to the Sony a7s III.

Spend a day with us in Highland park, we’re starting off with some caffeine at Comet over Delphi, a minimalistic industrial coffee shop. With a huge open window to people watch or take a seat to do some work. On the same street is some vintage and knick knack shops to check out!

For dinner we’ll stop by Sam’s Place, a wine bar / restaurant that’s only open from 4-11pm (and a 9-minute walk from Comet over Delphi). It’s a neighborhood spot where you seat yourself and order at the bar. It can get pretty busy so come early to snag a table!

The menu is small but well rounded. We were pleasantly surprised by the vermouth americano; if you love aperol spritz you’ll enjoy the vermouth spritz! Wine by the glass is $17 but a bottle is under $52.

Our food favorites were the bar steak, japanese sweet potatoes, and the herb salad.

If you’re up for it, head to Highland Park Bowl, a famous bowling alley built in 1927, it’s my goal to have my next birthday party here. Bowling can get pricey depending on what time you stop by and there might be a long wait. If you’re into billiards, they have 3 tables (also with a waitlist), but good thing they have amazing drinks and food!

That’s all for this month, chat again soon! xx Christine
