We often say we don’t have time to do something.
The truth is that we choose to spend our time doing other things. We simply pretend we’re not choosing.
We pretend we are beggars for time.
But there is a larger reality.
If you feel you must do something you dislike, become present with it. Do you really have to?
If the answer is yes, then you’re choosing to do it because the alternative feels worse. Why not do it with as much ease and good cheer as you can?
If the answer is no, choose something else.
Choose to do what you love.
Choose to do what you dream you can.
Even simply acknowledging that you’re choosing, moment by moment, is tremendously powerful. Just that awareness leads to riches of all manner.
If you choose to, remember: All time is free time.
