Crowd Influencing

I pose the use of QR-codes for reaching people conveniently. It is a bit cheeky on my behalf as my phone cannot read them and I do not have internet on the go except in rare emergencies.

James Roguski says some freedom activists are leery of them and it could put them off in messaging. As I don’t use them I never thought of this as a limitation. I will not use them but I do not think of them as bad any more than other technologies. Sure they could signal evil intent but so can any other messaging system, even a honest handshake could be the kiss of Judas or failure to identify as a Free mason if we want to go to extremes.

I will add my thoughts to how QR-codes could be used by freedom activists. I will also introduce my Veri-Fact logo I would be most delighted if it became famous from effective use and saved the world from tyrrany and MDM-information.

A QR-code is simply a machine readable representation of a URL or other data sequence, commonly text.

I think tracking suffixes would be a great benefit to viral distribution of QR-codes but this is not required to use a QR-code. If the URL is a short code the QR-code can be smaller. If the URL has a tracking ID then it can be used to encourage those who distribute the code and allow them and the resistance movement in general to see where codes are effective and popular. Using redirects (sort or long) can allow the campaign to be changed on the fly and compromised sites to be eliminated or canceled domains to be replaced. Activists can select what topic they want the codes they have distributed to redirect to, some activists might want theirs to point to DNA contamination, DoD countermeasure, Ivermectin, Vitamin-D3, VAERS, WHO, WEF/YGL or any other censored conspiracy that needs exposure.

These QR-codes could be made large like graffiti (this has been underutilised) or stickers/labels that people can place on temporary structures like hoarding or old adverts that will not raise social ire with defacement, stickers with low-tack adhesive could be placed on bus shelters of refuse bins with a message like “Scan me, relocate me” or if placing multiple labels at once the message could be “Take one, leave one, share with a friend” to get them to disperse further where activists might not even dream of placing them. The activists would track the times and places the codes are scanned, the first scan by the activist would set the location, later if peopel agree to provide their coarse location when they visit a site the movememnt of the labels could be monitored. Scanning a code would serve a page that has a meme relating to the activists chosen topic with credible primary and secondary references. It will also serve one other random meme from the complete activist pool also with references. Lastly it will include a link where you can join the resistance and start and track your own label campaign and select memes by topic or individually to taste from a pre-vetted meme bank. Adding a new meme requires primary and secondary references and 100% Veri-Fact accuracy, fringe cases can wait or more research and community vetting. Any dubious meme can be down voted and they will not be served until better sources can be found to back them up. The organisation can make it easy to order stencils for graffiti and labels in quantity for your campaign, it will generate personalised codes for all types of label and desktop printers. You can then track where your QR-codes are being scanned and even if people click through to sources or to the next meme to see which meme is the last one they look at. There would be a crazy amount of data one could collect if one includes the location and visitor ID into the collected data. Mining the data could become a hobby more interesting than Minecraft.

If some way to monetise this was found where if you join as a result of an activists sticker they would receive a few percent of the proceeds from the sticker printing wing of the resistance. I have a thermal transfer laber printer sitting idle that could print stikers, just need to make an automated system that could be replicated in every country. Rolls of low tack labels and a willingness to post them to activists. THose with a flat bed CO2 laser cutter could make stencils for marking walls that pedestrians pass. Use of water washable paint is important and using ugly and temporary surfaces is important. No stickers will be sold or codes generated until the activist pledges not to be a social nuicance. A button on the landing page will instruct irate citizens to take a picture of where they found the sticker and if it corresponds to the one the activist took on placing it and turns out to be in a obviously bad spot like the front of a traffic sign then their details are handed over to the authorities as required if prompt voluntary cleanup and apologies are not enough. Laws and rules in different regions could be investigated by crowd research to see how far activism is allowed, new laws drafted to prevent it might cause peopel to wake up and help with the Streisand effect.

Lastly the cool logo will give people a feeling of solidarity. Knowing they are spreading verified facts. A nod to the “V for Victory” franchise is admitted.
