Reading: In Conversation with Shasta Grant

I am very excited that Shasta Grant, my friend since 2003 and Brown Bag Lit Co-Founder, is coming to Washington, D.C., from Indianapolis! She’ll be reading from her page-turning debut novel, When We Were Feral, at Politics and Prose on Friday, August 14th at 7 pm.

I was lucky to read earlier drafts of the novel and discuss her process in an earlier class we co-taught about finishing your book. At Politics and Prose, I look forward to asking her questions about her process, themes and more. There will be a Q&A period, too, if there’s something you’re hoping to ask her.
