If you prefer physical shopping, China’s mega-markets are legendary. For tech lovers, Shenzhen’s Huaqiangbei (华强北 - Huá qiáng běi) is the undisputed electronics capital of the world. You can find everything from drone parts to the latest AI translation devices. For fashion, Hangzhou’s Sijiqing (四季青 - Sì jì qīng) offers wholesale clothing at rock-bottom prices. And for literally everything else, the Yiwu (义乌 - Yì wū) International Trade City is the “world’s supermarket,” where you can buy phone cases, toys, and home goods for a fraction of Western retail prices.
