For the past year I have struggled to make ends meet. Most months I have been late on rent, a ew times I have gone a day or two without eating. Last month I was without internet for a week because I couldn’t pay the bill on time.
Yet, Renato and I keep pushing forward with the work we are doing. He has created his own Substack and WhatsApp community to share tips for others here in Brazil trying to find their way in technology. The education, training and job field is pretty difficult here in Brazil. I am building a platform to deliver education and ideas.
I am creating an educational series based on my experiences building the UnswivelBook adaptive (AI) education and creator management platform that I announced a few months ago. I am currently testing it with one user, and am starting to look for another client in the online creator space.
I am very close to having the platform ready. But we keep running into roadblocks. We push through or over them. It would help a lot if we had a little more funding. I need $100 pay rent today. The landlady cannot handle another late payment.
I have been trying for the past year to stabilize my income through my newsletter enough, but each time I’ve reduce my expenses I lose more income. I am working on rebuilding my website so that I can market my consulting services around the AI platform. I hope that soon I will be able to make it a month without having to ask for additional support. But, I am still not there.
