Jesus was a master storyteller.
A narrow door. A camel and a needle. A lamp under a basket. A beam in your eye.
Images ordinary people could see, remember—and perhaps even smile about.
This Sunday, Ryan encounters the narrow door rather literally.
He has everything he needs.
And quite a few things he doesn’t.

Sometimes the Gospel catches us that way. We laugh at the predicament—and then realize there might be something in it for us.
Maybe getting through the narrow door requires putting a few things down.
