The Bank Holiday period starts with Hendon Blitz, our rather special Army & Navy Club congress, Muswell Hill, Golders Green and the British Blitz qualifier.

Five rounds of standard chess: Friday 6.30pm, Saturday 10am & 3pm, Sunday 10am & 3pm.

I’m particularly looking forward to this one — it’s a wonderful and rather unusual setting for a chess congress.

Important: players must be 16+. Jacket and trousers required; no jeans or trainers. Ties encouraged. No spectators except club members. The venue is wheelchair accessible.
