A busy few weeks ahead: weekday FIDE chess at the Clissold Arms, Golders Green Rapid, two different blitz opportunities, the Mind Sports Olympiad and a strong international classical tournament in Hammersmith.

♟️ Standard: two FIDE & ECF-rated games — 60 minutes + 30 seconds a move.

There’s a lunch break and we aim to finish before 5.30pm. This is a good one if you fancy a full day of rated chess without sacrificing a weekend.

It’s a rather special venue for a chess tournament and I’m very much looking forward to this one.

Important venue rules: players must be 16+; jacket and trousers required, no jeans or trainers; ties encouraged. No spectators except club members. The venue is wheelchair accessible.
