It’s classics month here on the pod and thank goodness we’ve got a good one this week. We are talking about Moonstruck – a very good movie featuring an incredible performance from Cher (would you expect anything else?) plus cheekbones for daysssssss.
It’s classics month! Classics as in ‘older movies’ not as in good movies like our first this month, 1957’s Funny Face – which is so screwball and so weird that we are just left wondering how and why.
We are wrapping up action month with The Mummy! We hadn’t seen it before and there are some issues with the treatment of Egyptians and territory plus you know all of Rachel Weitz revealing outfits but for everyone who highlights this movie for its incredible swoon levels…ya we get it now.
