Two of my photos have been printed at A0 and framed at Portsmouth's Pitt St Skate Park as part of the Pompey Darkroom Open Call. Genuinely didn't see this coming.
I can’t believe I’m writing this! My work was selected for the Pitt St. Skatepark x Pompey Darkroom Open Call. My photos have been printed as A0 and framed at the Skate Park.
It’s an honour and incredibly validating to know that the photos I have taken have won something and appreciated by someone else.
Photography is my escape, a new-found escape from the busy world of Software Engineering and AI. I picked up a camera on a whim and less than 12 months later my work is published for 100s of people to see. This isn’t a brag, I’m genuinely floored that this has happened.
Proud doesn’t cut it. I’m excited to head down to Pitt St and see it in the flesh.
You can see my entry submission here if you’re interested.
And these are the two images which were selected.

Pompey Darkroom also posted a reel of the exhibition if you want to see them on the wall.
