You probably didn’t even know it was Black Women’s Equal Pay day. So please support a Black woman today. If you have a Black woman co-worker send her cash, $5 or $500, anything makes a difference. She is working hard and getting paid less. She is tired. She is making choices like do I date or stay late at work in hopes I will get noticed for my hard work? Do I go to my child’s sporting event or do I go to the work happy hour to network. Do I go back to school and put myself in more debt in hopes I get that promotion that was promised? Black women make 65 CENTS to the DOLLAR! That is why we are exhausted!

We are doing the work and NOT GETTING PAID FOR IT like white women and men. I remember the murder of George Floyd days where brands and companies paid me my actual worth. I called it white boy money for a reason. I was able to pay off my debt. Buy a home. Travel business class at the minimum. And my favorite, everything was on autopay; I never had to worry if a bill would be paid. I miss those days. I miss those days because I know it is possible for me, for Black women, to have the same income as a white man but as you know White Supremacy Is All Around.

So pay us. And if you are in a position of power make sure your salaries from Black women are the SAME as white men.
