Good Wednesday morning! We’ll likely see scattered, but problematic showers and storms develop today that produce locally heavy rainfall into the early overnight. This is not going to be like the flood event we endured over the weekend, but because soils are already waterlogged and river levels are already elevated, any storms that produce heavy rainfall across the area (and there may be a few!) could exacerbate those issues. No major severe weather risk, though a few stronger wind gusts are possible across the area. We’ll turn sunny and mostly quiet tomorrow into the weekend, with a stray storm possible Friday afternoon.
