The APC Ondo West Youths Leader, Hon. Famakinwa Lucas (Kakaki) has commended the Executive Governor of Ondo State, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, over the approval of the recruitment of 1,000 forest guards across the state.
He said the recruitment demonstrates proactive leadership and a strong commitment to strengthening security architecture, protecting lives and property, and safeguarding forest reserves against criminal activities.
The recruitment of forest guards is a strategic step that will not only enhance surveillance and intelligence gathering in rural and forest communities but also create meaningful employment opportunities for young people across Ondo State.
The youth leader, while addressing the Youths advised everyone to be security conscious as security is everyone's concern.
He applauded Mr Governor for tightening up security in the state.
“Recruiting another thousand forest guards at this critical time shows our governor's timely responsiveness to security problems in Nigeria.”
“This will not only strengthen security at the Ondo state borders, but also reduce unemployment, and boost the confidence of our people, especially the villagers.”
As youths, we welcome policies that combine security with economic empowerment; this move reflects the government’s understanding that sustainable peace and development require active youth engagement.
I thereby encourage interested and qualified youths to prepare themselves to take advantage of this opportunity and contribute meaningfully to the security and development of our dear state.
In his statements, he appreciates the lover-of-the-youths and the security-conscious Governor for his continued dedication to governance, safety, and youth inclusion.
We remain hopeful that this initiative will yield positive outcomes for all residents of Ondo State, he concluded.
