Great comedian. Dark comedy is his specialty. "The producers" gets better every year.

this isn't a comment about Mel Brooks per se, but now that the American Empire is crumbling in front of our eyes, how much of American culture in general has been tarnished in retrospect? Seinfeld has self-cancelled. the Star Wars locomotive may have definitively jumped the tracks (or the shark), but was there really much there to begin with? I struggle to find fare on Netflix for my mother to watch and I gave the two most recent Jurassic World sequels a shot. just embarrassingly vacuous. a slothful recycling of threadbare tropes times 2. I just learned that the 2017 version of "The Mummy" grossed over $400 million worldwide and still lost over $90 million. that a Reality TV star and soulless profiteer was able to commandeer our federal government and eviscerate this country's standing on the world stage was all too inevitable.
