Read Write Own published this week in the U.S. and the U.K. (international options here; more editions in other languages coming soon).

I hope you pick it up, share it, and debate the ideas with me. I’m looking forward to your feedback, and if you like, I hope you also add your reviews on Amazon or directly on Goodreads.

In the meantime, here are a couple reviews and commentary on how the book is being received so far:

From Fortune:

The book is not only the most articulate overview of blockchain to date, but it shines as a history of computing and the internet. …Read Write Own is likely to become the next standard bearer for crypto enthusiasts and find a place on computer science and economics syllabi for years to come.

From Wired:

Dixon acknowledges these shortcomings and more in his book. But he insists that the emergence of even an unpolished alternative for governing internet platforms is a step forward. Blockchain is ‘messy and imperfect,’ he says, but the alternative is worse. …regulatory overreaction could choke off ideas that could rejuvenate the internet and everything built on it — that is, more or less everything.

There are many more writeups, Q&As, and interviews — including one I did with Andrew Ross Sorkin on CNBC — but here are some of the podcasts that have explanations on blockchains for different audiences:

Finally, if you'd like to hear more on my process for writing the book, these two podcasts cover or touch on that:

p.s. My team put together a trailer that shares an overview of the book themes if you want to check it out and share it (it’s a little over a minute long):
