Two teenage boys are facing multiple firearms charges after allegedly waving a gun on a Regina bus.
Police were sent to the area of Park Street and Victoria Avenue around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday after a report about three youths on a transit bus. One of them was seen waving a firearm, police said.
Officers found an 11-year-old child and two boys, ages 14 and 15, on the bus and took them into custody, the Regina Police Service said in a news release Wednesday. After taking them into custody, officers seized three loaded homemade firearms, ammunition and bear spray, police said.
The two teens are facing six firearm charges each, including careless use of a firearm.
The 11-year-old is too young to be charged. The two teens appeared in court Wednesday.
