London police and the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have established a dedicated tip line for anyone with information that could assist an ongoing fraud investigation involving London Health Sciences Centre (LHSC).
The London Police Service (LPS) launched its investigation in October 2024 after allegations of fraudulent financial activity at the hospital. Police say the OPP's Serious Fraud Office is now assisting because of the complexity of the investigation.
"We remain fully committed to this investigation and value the continued partnership with the Ontario Provincial Police and the Serious Fraud Office," said Det. Supt. Sean Travis of the LPS criminal investigations division.
"Shared expertise and investigative collaboration are essential in advancing this complex file. We also encourage anyone with information to come forward, as even the smallest detail may assist investigators."

Soon after the police investigation began, CBC News learned LHSC had filed two lawsuits against five former executives, a contractor and several companies hired to do work for the hospital.
The lawsuits, which total more than $60 million, allege some executives knew about the scheme and did nothing to stop it. One of the claims also links more than 60 "suspicious properties," worth nearly $20 million, to three people allegedly involved in the scheme. The properties were purchased after the hospital awarded multimillion-dollar contracts.
