Welcome to The Gathering: a little blueprint for turning an ordinary night into something worth looking forward to. For our first theme I chose Tomato Girl Summer. A dinner party inspired by long evenings, overflowing farmers markets and the kind of meal that accidentally lasts four hours.
Tomato Girl Summer isn’t really about tomatoes lol.
It’s about a feeling. Eating outside, lingering over one more drink, and remembering that an ordinary Wednesday can feel like you’re on vacation if you set the mood right. Though tomatoes are their ripest and best selves mid-summer!
It works as a date night, a girls’ night or simply an excuse to set the table, make a very good drink and romanticize a warm summer evening.
