Today I’d love you to meet Clovis.
There’s something about hedgehogs that always makes me smile, and I imagined Clovis stappong for a quiet moment to enjoy the scent of the magnolia on a warm spring morning.
The magnolia flowers were inspired by the beautiful tree in my own garden. I loved building up all those soft pinks layer by layer, until the petals had that delicate, papery quality they seem to catch in the sunlight.
I think spring flowers and hedgehogs belong together somehow.
