Part 1 of our summer essentials series, a little raffia roundup of everything I’m loving right now. From bags to hats to shoes… I always forget how versatile raffia is, but it really does work with everything, you can throw it on with a really simple city outfit or take it straight to the beach and it still works!
The Row does it incredibly well (as always), but there are loads of more affordable options that give the same feel. I think that’s why I love it, it has that slightly holiday energy, but you can still wear it day to day without it feeling out of place.
Prime example being…
….Zoë Kravitz, she’s always carrying a raffia tote, and not just on holiday, mostly in NYC. She wears it with really simple looks. I think that’s the appeal, it brings that slightly undone, summer energy to everyday dressing without feeling too “beachy.”
