It gets called discipline, resilience, leadership, strength, work ethic, confidence, reinvention.
It gets photographed well.
It looks good on a bio.
It becomes a brand.
And for years, I think I confused being high-functioning with being healed.
I built things.
I became visible.
I created companies, events, podcasts, magazines, rooms, communities, opportunities, stages, moments, memories.
I learned how to walk into a room and look like I belonged there even when some part of me was still wondering if I was about to be exposed.
