Planner Pad (mom edition)

Here’s a quick rundown on how I navigate our digital calendars, paper planners and more.

Digital Calendars

• Skylight Calendar: I completely forgot to include this in my digital product roundup, but we’ve owned ours since December 2024. I’ll plan to do a longer post on it since it usually comes with a lot of questions. The headline: we love it!

• iCalendar: I work on a MacBook and use an iPhone so everything goes into my iCal, color coded of course.

• Outlook Calendar: For work, everything is also color coded, and I add dedicated Focus Time blocks to ensure I leave time to actually do the work I need to do.

  • Yellow: 1x1 meetings

  • Blue: Internal, cross-functional meetings

  • Purple: External meetings

  • Green: Focus Time

  • Red: Personal / family appointments that are not flexible

Daily / Weekly Printed Planner Pad

• Sharing the (hopefully) savable file below

  • A massive thank you to the lovely new mom who DM’d me about the planner. We chatted for a bit, I shared the file, and she was like “Thank you! Just ordered three pads from Vistaprint!” And then off I went to Vistaprint to order my own.

  • You can test it out by printing one sheet at home!

Note Taking

• Yes, I WFH but still use a physical notebook + travel with it as well

  • I like that this leaves space for Action Items at the bottom
